Breauna Almonique Harris

–

High Point, North Carolina

Obituary

Breauna Almonique Harris was born on March 22, 1996, in Cabarrus County, North Carolina, to her loving mother, Kenita Harris of Salisbury, North Carolina. She transitioned from this life on May 18, 2026, leaving behind a family and community who loved her deeply.

Breauna was a beautiful soul whose presence could light up any room. Around new people, she could sometimes be shy and reserved, but around family and friends she brought laughter, energy, and unforgettable memories. She loved spending time with the people closest to her and always enjoyed being around her friends from childhood into adulthood.

One of the things people complimented most about Breauna was her beauty, including the moles she often disliked herself, but that others saw as part of what made her uniquely beautiful. Above all else, people admired the love she carried for her daughter, Kamila.

Being a mother was one of the most important parts of Breauna’s life. She was caring, devoted, and determined to give Kamila the very best she could. Everything she did came from a place of love for her daughter, family, and friends. Kamila brought her endless joy and laughter, especially through her growing personality and the happiness she brought into Breauna’s life.

Breauna was educated within the Rowan–Cabarrus County School System and later earned her GED, a moment that made her family incredibly proud because it reflected her strength, growth, and pride in herself.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory her daughter, Kamila Luther of High Point, North Carolina; Kamila’s father and her loving boyfriend, Robert Luther of High Point, North Carolina; her mother, Kenita Harris of Salisbury, North Carolina; her sister, Bre’Osha Harris of High Point, North Carolina; her brother, Brian Shotwell of Chicago, Illinois; her aunt, Traci Meaders of Charlotte, North Carolina; along with many loving family members and friends whose lives were touched by her presence.

Though her time here was far too short, Breauna’s love, smile, and spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. To Kamila, may she always know that her mother loved her deeply, never wanted to leave her, and will forever live within her heart.

“Her flame will forever glow through the hearts of her family.”
