With a heart full of gratitude, we remember the life of Ronnie Smith, fondly known as Dee Dee, who was born on November 30, 1946, in Cabarrus, North Carolina. Ronnie, known for his funny and courageous spirit, enriched the lives of everyone he met with his unique blend of humor and bravery.
In the words of Charlie Chaplin, "A day without laughter is a day wasted," and there was never a wasted day with Ronnie. He was slick at the tongue, always ready to spread laughter with his quick wit and humor. His courage was equally admirable, shining through in every facet of his life. Ronnie was a fervent fan of the Dallas Cowboys, unwavering in his support, which mirrored his loyalty to his friends and family.
Ronnie spent his professional life working in a warehouse, where his diligent and committed work ethic was recognized by all. Even after retiring, he carried these qualities into his retirement, never missing a beat when it came to staying active and engaged with his loved ones and community. His home in Kannapolis, North Carolina, was often filled with the sound of laughter, warmth, and joy.
